Netflix is moving forward with a reboot of Cujo, the terrifying Stephen King novel about a rabid St. Bernard that turns deadly.

Roy Lee is set to produce the remake, which reimagines the 1981 psychological horror story first adapted into a 1983 film starring Dee Wallace and Danny Pintauro. The original follows a mother and son trapped in their car, fighting for survival against the once-lovable dog after it’s infected by rabies.
Cujo joins a long list of King’s works brought to the screen, including The Shining, It, The Shawshank Redemption, and Doctor Sleep. More adaptations are on the horizon, as Hollywood continues to mine King’s vast library of bestselling horror and suspense.
