The cost of raising a child is now estimated between RM400,000 to RM1,100,000. These are not easy numbers to look at, whether you have children of your own or otherwise.

There are parents who can afford imagining their children with bright futures ahead of them, but there are also those who cannot even afford buying educational books or toys for their kids.

Keep on reading to find out the realities faced by unprivileged children in our country. These numbers will shock you.

If you finished reading this article feeling uncomfortable—that’s good. It means you care about them. But don’t just feel sad and move on, because you can help do something about it. Pledge as a Budimas donor and give the gift of food, shelter, and ultimately, love to children in Malaysia.

The Budimas Charitable Foundation is a Non-Governmental and Non-Profit Organisation with a mission to provide guidance and funding in support of the welfare and well-being of orphans and underprivileged children in Malaysia.

This year, they are aiming to aid an additional 40 children shelters on top of the existing 60 shelters they are already helping. They also want to build two more Budimas children libraries in Orang Asli settlements and feed 6,000 underprivileged children breakfast every school morning in their respective schools.

Pledge as a donor for The Budimas Charitable Foundation today via their website.
