As the world progresses into the future, it’s nice to know that somethings in life are still best enjoyed the old-fashioned way. One such thing is none other than actual board games, and when thinking of board games, it’s hard not to think about Monopoly.
First invented in 1935, Monopoly has stood the test of time to become one of the most popular and loved form of entertainment around. You know what else has stood the test of time? The hit TV sitcom Friends.

So, when you put these 2 things together, you know you have just created something awesome. Thankfully that’s exactly what Monopoly did because they’ve just announced Friends Monopoly!

While information is scarce about what the board looks like, there’s confirmation that you get to choose from six character tokens that represent the 6 friends in Friends: there’s Monica’s chef hat, Chandler’s sweater vest, Ross’ dinosaur, Rachel’s handbag, Joey’s pizza, and Phoebe’s guitar.

Then there’s speculation that players will be able to acquire Central Perk, go straight to Ross ‘n’ Rachel jail, and collect Smelly Cat tokens by passing ‘Go’. We sure hope that’s true.
But, hold your excitement though, because the game is currently only set to be released in the UK… for now. Fingers crossed we get it here soon, or you can just buy online if you can’t wait. Either way, we’re excited.
