Ever heard of the TV series Knight Rider?
You may know the 2008 show starring Justin Bruening, but the original actually ran from 1982-1986, launching David Hasselhoff to stardom in the lead role of Michael Knight.
Knight Rider tells the stories of crimefighter Michael Knight, a mysterious agent for the Foundation for Law and Government (FLAG), driving the Knight Industries Two Thousand (KITT), a technologically-advanced car.
Since then, the franchise has released a short-lived spinoff, Code of Vengeance, the sequel series Team Knight Rider, and of course, the earlier mentioned TV reboot in 2008.
Almost 40 years on, Aquaman director James Wan is set to bring the popular series to the big screen.

Plot details are still being kept under wraps, but according to Deadline, the new movie will take place in the present, while maintaining the tone of the original.
Wan’s other works include the first two Insidious movies, the first two Conjuring movies and Furious 7.
We for one, can’t wait to see this!
