22-year-old Lee Zii Jia won the All England Open men's title with 30-29, 20-22, 21-9 win over Denmark's Viktor Axelsen at Birmingham. He became the first Malaysian since Lee Chong Wei in 2017 to win the title.

Zii Jia and Axelsen fought valiantly in the first two sets and sent the match into a decider. However, Zii Jia transformed in the third game and won. He let out a scream of joy to seal the victory after an action-packed 74-minute battle.

This is only Zii Jia’s second win over Axelsen in the five times they have played each other.
We at LITE join Malaysians in celebration over the win!
