Thanks to a group of motorcyclists who rode to the dog's rescue as it ran through busy traffic in the heart of the city, Dafi the poodle will be happily reunited with its owner after going missing for 10 days.
The riders are seen tailing the dog in an effort to catch it and prevent it from being run over by passing vehicles in a video that went viral on social media yesterday (April 26th).
One of the motorcyclists is seen getting off his bike and running after the dog.
The man lunges for the poodle in an attempt to capture it, but the dog evades him, and ends up lying flat on the road.
At least six motorcycles joined the convoy in capturing the poodle, and the chase lasted nearly two minutes until one rider captured the puppy.
Steven Chong, the poodle's owner, wrote on Facebook saying that seeing his poodle Dafi running around aimlessly and looking scared broke his heart.
"I really teared up. It has been 10 days since Dafi went missing," he said.
He expressed gratitude to one of the motorcyclists, identified as Siva, for rescuing Dafi. "Mr Siva has contacted me and is now on his way to bring Dafi home. I will update everyone soon," said Chong.
