Two Man City players test positive for COVID-19

Man City's Riyad Mahrez and Aymeric Laporte have tested positive for COVID-19.

City confirmed that both players have not shown any symptoms, and they are currently in self-isolation.

Meanwhile, Mahrez has released a statement thanking City fans for their well wishes, and urged everyone to stay safe. 

IOC: Tokyo Games will go on, with or without COVID-19

The IOC insists that the Tokyo Olympics will go ahead as planned next year. 

This, amid an ongoing debate about wheter the summer games should go ahead, having already been posponed from this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

In a recent poll, only a quarter of people in Japan want the event to go ahead, while the others are in favour of postponing, or cancelling it altogether.

Renault F1 team to be renamed next year 

It's confirmed: the Renault F1 team will be renamed as Alpine from next year. 

The Renault name will remain on the car. as the engine provider.
