Thiago wants Bayern exit amid interest from Liverpool

Bayern Munich have confirmed that midfielder Thiago Alcantara has asked to leave the Bundesliga champions.
It comes amid rumours, that Liverpool are closing in on a 32 million pounds deal for the Spanish playmaker.
Bayern say the Reds have yet to officially make contact, but it is prepared to work something out if an offer comes in.
Blues want to hold on to Willian
Chelsea are still trying to convince Willian to remain with the team, amid interest from Arsenal and Tottenham.
The Brazilian has had a good spell at Stamford Bridge, but is unwilling to accept anything less than a new three-year contract.

The Blues, however are only prepared to offer a maximum two-year extension, as per club policy for players over 30.
No free ride for youngsters
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has ruled out deliberately selecting young players for the remainder of the season, just because the club has already wrapped up the Premiership title.

The Reds have no Cup ties and have only six games to go...but the manager insists the youngsters will only make the matchday squad if they deserve a place.
Klopp adds that his side are out to win their remaining matches, and his team selection will reflect that.
Aussie Open to remain in Melbourne
Australian Open organisers say there are no plans to move next year's Grand Slam event from Melbourne - despite the spike in Covid-19 cases in the state of Victoria.

They say they're prepared for the possibilty of playing matches behind closed doors, but they will NOT be changing venues.
This, after the increase in coronavirus cases in Victoria prompted calls for the Aussie Open to be moved to either Brisbane or Sydney.
