Thiago Alcantara joins Liverpool

Bayern Munich's Thiago Alcantara has joined Liverpool on a four-year deal for over £20 million. 

The 29-year-old will be eligible to play when Liverpool take on Chelsea in the EPL this weekend. 

Meanwhile, it seems Liverpool have agreed a £45 million deal for Wolves forward Diogo Jota. 

Man City's Sergio Aguero could miss out start of EPL season

Man City boss Pep Guardiola says striker Sergio Aguero could miss the first two months of the EPL season.

He says this, as Aguero is still recovering from a knee injury he picked up earlier this year.

Meanwhile, the Italian government has announced that one thousand spectators will be allowed to attend the final two days of the competition, subject to strict COVID-19 SOPs.
