Feb 04, 2020

Man City star Raheem Sterling remains a doubt for his side's Champions League clash against Real Madrid.

He suffered a hamstring problem in their recent 2-nil defeat to Tottenham, and may not be fit for the first leg in Madrid later this month.

City boss Pep Guardiola is hoping that Sterling will be able to recover after their current 2-week mid-season break.

Man City players have reportedly called on boss Pep Guardiola to stop changing the starting lineup every week, following their 2-nil loss to Tottenham.

Guardiola has not named the same lineup in consecutive matches this season and his side now trail Liverpool by 22 points in the Premier League title race.

The City head coach has made more changes than any other manager in the Premier League this season, with 76 switches.

Harry Kane is reportedly continuing his rehabilitation in the Caribbean after he came through surgery on the thigh injury he picked up against Southampton last month.

The England striker is not expected back from his injury until April at the earliest and is facing a race against time to be match fit for Euro 2020 in the summer.
