Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal set up Wimbledon semifinal

Jul 11, 2019

Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal will meet at Wimbledon for the first time since the 2008 final, after they both advanced to the semis.

Federer saw off Kei Nishikori for his 100th match win at the All England Club, while Nadal beat American Sam Querrey.

Defending champion Novak Djokovic is also through, and will next face Roberto Bautisa Agut.

This is the first time in 12 years that Djokovic, Nadal and Federer have all made the last-four.

Elsewhere at the tournament, Andy Murray and Serena Williams' memorable mixed doubles run is over, after a three-set defeat to their top-seeded opponents.

Pandelela Rinong returns to action

Pandelela Rinong will be making her return to competitive diving tomorrow, at the World Aquatics Championships in South Korea.

The 26-year-old has been out of action since August last year, after she picked up a serious back injury at the Asian Games.

Rinong says she's excited to be back on the international stage, and hopes she'll be able to qualify for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
