Piers Morgan says Wayne Rooney confirmed to him that he had received an offer so stupendously, stratospherically gigantic, to move to the Chinese Super League.
The British television personality didn't give everything away but says Rooney revealed a figure, based on a three-year deal, which included eight noughts, most likely 500 million pounds.
Neither Rooney nor United have publicly commented on the speculation.
