No specific targets for Chelsea this season

Sep 14, 2020

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is not setting any specific targets for his team this season.

He says the Blues may have spent around 200 million pounds on new signings this summer, but it will take time for the new players to integrate into his squad..

"We finished a lot of points behind Liverpool and Man City in the last two seasons so we have to first look at closing the gap and build confidence by getting the team working well together. I'm not jumping ahead and making predictions on us."

He said this ahead of Chelsea's season-opener against Brighton.

Ole to talk to Greenwood over his off-pitch activities

Man United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will reportedly meet with Mason Greenwood, to discuss the teenager's recent problems off the pitch.

Greenwood and Phil Foden were kicked out of the England squad for breaching COVID-19 guidelines after the national team's recent Nations League match in Iceland.

A video then emerged of Greenwood inhaling nitrous oxide.

Dalot seeks United exit

Reports say that Diogo Dalot is unhappy at Man United and wants to leave.

The Portuguese full-back only made 11 appearances in all competitions last season, and is desperate to find a club that can guarantee him regular first-team football.

Despite this, it seems that United are refusing to sell him, having already rejected an offer from French club, Lille.
