National athletes start testing SEA Games venues

Jul 25, 2017

The Youth and Sports Ministry says our national athletes have already started testing out the venues for next month's KL SEA Games.

It adds that any shortcomings can still be rectified if needed, since it has another 3 more weeks before the Games kick off.

Only the Malaysian International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) has yet to be tested, and the athletes will do so next week.

Meanwhile, Malaysia's total medal target for the SEA Games will be announced on August 10th.

The flag bearer for the national contingent will also be revealed on the same day.

Earlier, Thailand announced that it's aiming to win 100 gold medals at the Games.
