Medvedev stuns Djokovic

Daniil Medvedev has pulled off a huge upset at the Cincinnati tennis Masters, beating defending champion Novak Djokovic in the semis.

The Russian overcame the top seed and world number one in three sets to book a place in the final against David Goffin.

Goffin had earlier defeated Richard Gasquet in the other semifinal.

VAR deny City a win

Defending Premier League champions Man City were held to a 2-all draw by Tottenham at the Etihad.

City could have taken a late win after Gabriel Jesus struck in injury-time, but the goal disallowed by the Video Assistant Referee.

The result leaves Pep Guardiola's side third in the standings after two matches.

In other results, Liverpool hung on for a 2-1 win over Southampton.
Arsenal defeated Burnley 2-1.
Bournemouth beat Aston Villa, also 2-1
Brighton and West Ham played out a 1-1 draw
Everton edged past Watford by a goal to nil
While newly-promoted Norwich thumped Newcastle 3-1.

Young Tigers make the final

Malaysia have made the final of the AFF Under-18 Championship, with a dramatic 4-3 extra-time win over Indonesia.

The Malaysians will take on Australia for the title tomorrow.

Chong Wei has no plans to start coaching...yet

Datuk Lee Chong Wei says he's not ready to move into coaching anytime soon. 

The recently-retired shuttler says despite receiving a coaching offer, he wants to spend more time with his family and focus on his charity work first.

Chong Wei also says he wants to learn as much as possible, to help him perform his duties as the national contingent's Chef de Mission for next year's Olympic Games.
