London Mayor says its still too early for EPL

May 13, 2020

London mayor Sadiq Khan says it's still too early for EPL football to make a return in the city.

Premier League officials are currently ironing out the details for matches to resume, after they were suspended in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Khan says as a fan of leaders Liverpool, he does want the season to resume at some point.

However, it should not place any extra burden on the country's health and emergency services.

Pep Guardiola tempted to return to Barcelona

Man City manager Pep Guardiola could reportedly be tempted by a return to his former club Barcelona.

This, after former Barca president Joan Laporta said he wants to bring Guardiola back to the Camp Nou, if he is re-elected to the post.

Guardiola had a successful four-year stint at Barca between 2008 and 2012, winning La Liga 3 times and the Champions League twice.

F1 teams to propose gradual reduce to budget cap

Formula 1 teams are set to vote on a proposal to gradually reduce the budget cap over the next 5 years.

Under the plan the original cap of 175 million dollars will be slashed to 135 million by 2025.
