The Reds fell behind to a 13th minute penalty, before responding through Roberto Firminho and Diogo Jota.

Liverpool are now level on points at the top of the table with Everton.

Meanwhile, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is adamant that his side deserved a penalty in their goalless draw with Man United at Old Trafford.

It comes after United’s Harry Maguire brought down Cesar Azpilicueta inside the box in the first half.

Lampard is livid that United escaped punishment by the Video Assistant Referee, despite Maguire seen to have his arm around Azpilicueta’s neck.

In other results, Phil Foden rescued a point for Man City, netting the equalizer in their 1-all draw with West Ham.

While Crystal Palace defeated Fulham 2-1.

Real win El Classico

Real Madrid defeated Barcelona 3-1 in a contentious El Classico encounter at the Nou Camp, that saw Real awarded a spot-kick by the video assistant referee, while Barca had two penalty appeals turned down.
