Liverpool boss wins September Premier League manager of the month award

Liverpool duo Jurgen Klopp and Jordan Henderson have both been hounoured in the September Premier League awards.

Klopp was named the Manager of the Month, as the Reds rose to 4th in the table following three successive victories last month - that is against Leicester, Chelsea and Hull City.

Henderson bagged the best goal award with his sensational long-range strike, which proved to be the winner against Chelsea.

Meanwhile, Tottenham's South Korean striker Son Heung-min scooped the Player of the Month prize, as his four goals helped Spurs maintain the league's only unbeaten record.
