Liverpool are knocked out of the League Cup

Liverpool have been knocked out of the League Cup, after losing 1-nil to Southampton at Anfield.
Shane Long scored in the final minutes of the game, as the Saints doubled their semifinal aggregate to 2-nil, and secured a place in the Wembley final on February 26th.
Southmpton will meet the winner of the other semifinal tie between Manchester United and Hull.
