Top seed Simona Halep advanced after beating Angelique Kerber in 3 sets in their semifinal, to put her on course for her first Grand Slam title.
The only thing now that stands in Halep's way is Caroline Wozniaki - she posted a straight sets win over Bengium's Elise Mertens.
