Klopp expects Liverpool to bounce back after hitting rock-bottom

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is confident his team can bounce back from their slump, in tomorrow morning's FA Cup 4th round clash at Manchester United. 

His team are coming off a 1-nil defeat to Burnley, which ended a run of 68 matches without defeat at home. 

Klopp says that the team may have hit rock bottom in that match, and reckons that things will only get better from this point forward.

FA Cup tie will decide Lingard's fate

Tomorrow morning's match match against Liverpool could determine the fate of Man United's Jesse Lingard. 

Newcastle are keen to sign the midfielder on loan this month.

However, boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may decide to keep him around, to provide backup IF they move to the later rounds of the FA Cup.

City avoid embarassing FA Cup exit

Man City avoided a major upset in the English FA Cup, after beating Cheltenham 3-1 in the 4th round. 

Cheltenham, who play in League Two, took the lead at around the hour-mark. 

However City staged a late rally to score three goals in the final ten minutes, with Phil Foden Gabriel Jesus and Ferran Torres all finding the back of the net. 

Meanwhile, Southampton beat defending champions Arsenal 1-nil, thanks to a first-half own goal by Gunners defender Gabriel.
