Karolina Pliskova defeated Mirjana Lucic-Baroni to book her spot in the semifinals of the women's singles event, where she'll meet Caroline Wozniacki.
Over in the men's category, Nick Kyrgios booked his spot in the last 8, after defeating David Goffin.
