Juve may drop Ramsey from Champions League squad

Oct 30, 2019

Aaron Ramsey may be withdrawn from Juventus's Champions League squad.

According to British reports, this is because of Ramsey's continued injury problems, which has limited him to just 210 minutes of football this season.

It's believed that the Welshman will be replaced by former Liverpool midfielder Emre Can.

Juve will be able to make changes to their 22-man Champions League squad in February, if they reach the knockout rounds.

The Bulgarian FA has been fined 75 thousand euros for the racist behaviour of their fans, during their Euro 2020 qualifier against England earlier this month.

They were also handed a 2-match stadium ban - one of them suspended for 2 years.

The match, which England won 6-nil, was stopped on several occasions because of the abuse from the crowd in the city of Sofia.

The Bulgarian FA's president was forced to resign in the aftermath of the game, due to pressure from the country's PM.

Mercedes's Toto Wolf has confirmed that he was one of the 2 F1 bosses who vetoed a controversial plan to introduce a new qualifying format next year.

He says he voted no, because he wanted to 'preserve the DNA of Formula 1'.

The proposal, by F1's owner Libery Media, was replace qualifying with a reverse-grid sprint race.
