Jan 18, 2018

Hsieh Su Wei of Taiwan has pulled off the biggest upset at the Australian Open so far.

The world number 88 defeated third-seed Garbine Muguruza in straight sets in the second round.

Earlier, unseeded American Bernarda Pera also recorded a shock win over ninth seed Johana Konta.

However, Maria Sharapova, Agnieska Radwanska and Karolina Pliskova all had no problems making it into round three.
