Germany are out of the World Cup

Defending world champions Germany have crashed out of the World Cup!

They were beaten 2-0 by South Korea in their final Group F tie to finish bottom of the group.

It's the first time Germany failed to advance from the opening round since 1938.

Kim Young-Won scored Korea's first goal in injury time, and Son Hyeung Min added a second a few minutes later.

Also, Sweden beat Mexico 3-nil, with both sides progressing to the last-16.

Meanwhile Brazil are through to the last-16 as Group E winners after beating Serbia 2-0.

Switzerland finish in second place, thanks to a 2-2 draw with Costa Rica.

This means Brazil will face Mexico in the last-16, while Sweden take on Switzerland.
