FA Cup: Holders Man City through to 4th round

Holders Man City are thru to the fourth round of the FA Cup with a comfortable 4-1 win over Port Vale.

In other selected results Leicester City overcame Wigan 2-0.

While the tie between Wolves and Man United will go to a replay...after both sides played out a goalless draw.

Over in Spain...

Barcelona remain top of La Liga on goal difference after they were held to a 2-2 draw by bottom club Espanyol.

Second-placed Real Madrid, meanwhile, kept up the pressure with a 3-0 win over Getafe.

In other developments...

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta may have to make do with the squad that he has...with reports saying he will NOT be given funds for new players in January. 

The Gunners had spent big over the summer...splashing out 137 million pounds on five new players - including club-record signing Nicolas Pepe.

Sisters march on

Malaysia's Aifa Azman has made the last eight of the British Junior Squash Open.

The three-time champion recorded a comfortable win over Evie Coxon in the women's Under-19 category.
