FA Cup 4th results

Jan 31, 2016

Manchester City are through to the 5th round of the FA Cup, after beating Aston Villa 4-0.

Youngster Kelechi Iheanacho scored a hat-trick to ease City through, earning much praise from manger Manuel Pellegrini.

Pellegrini also hinted he was confident enough in the 19-year-old from the beginning, to let Stevan Jovetic and Edin Dzeko go.

Meanwhile, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp's gamble to field a mix of regulars and youngsters in their FA Cup 4th round tie with West Ham didn't seem to pay off, after the match ended in a goaless draw.

This means the Reds' schedule next month will include at least 7 matches, after already having played 9 this month.

In other FA Cup results,
Tottenham thrashed Colchester 4-1,
Manchester City hammered Aston Villa 4-0
and Arsenal beat Burnley 2-1.
