Cristiano Ronaldo is the highest Insta-paid athlete

Cristiano Ronaldo has topped the list of the highest-paid athletes on Instagram. 

The Juventus and Portugal star makes a whopping 784 thousand pounds per post on the platform.

This puts him well ahead of second-placed Neymar, who earns 580 thousand pounds for every sponsored post he shares.

Lionel Messi, David Beckham and NBA star LeBron James round up the top five on the Instagram rich-list.

Gareth Bale transfer talk...

Gareth Bale's agent has ruled out any chance of the winger leaving Real Madrid on loan. 

The agent says Bale is one of the best players in the world, and any deal to join another club will have to reflect his value. 

The Welshman is currently out of favour with Real boss Zinedine Zidane, who earlier said that the club are working out the player's exit.

Bonnie targets 210kg lift

National para powerlifter Bonnie Bunyau Gustin has set his sights on lifting 210 kilograms, in preparation for next year's Powerlifting World Cup and Tokyo Paralympics. 

The 19-year-old recently lifted 207kgs at the recent World Powerlifting Championship, earning him the win and a new junior world record.
