Chong Wei through to Malaysian Open semis

Datuk Lee Chong Wei is through to the semifinals of the Malaysian Badminton Open.

The world number one and 11-time champion recorded a comfortable straight sets win over South Korea's Jeon Hyeok Jin. 

Chong Wei will next play Hong Kong's Vincent Wong for a place in the final.

Meanwhile, China's Lin Dan also made the last four, with a hard-fought three sets victory over Indonesian teenager Jonatan Christie.
