The Spanish giants appeared on course for a shock defeat, before Karim Benzema and Casemiro scored one apiece in the final few minutes of the game.

Liverpool’s injury woes in defense continue after makeshift center-back Fabinho had to be taken off with an apparent hamstring problem, in this morning’s 2-0 Champions League win over Midtjylland.

Man City recorded their second straight group win with a 3-0 victory over Marseille in France.

Raheem Sterling capped the win after Ferran Torres and Ilkay Gundogan had put City comfortably ahead.
