Barcelona get the better of Juventus in the Champions League

Barcelona have picked up their second straight group stage win in the Champions League, with a 2-0 victory over Juventus this morning.
Ousmane Dembele opened the scoring in the first half before Lionel Messi sealed the win with an injury-time penalty.
Juve were playing without Cristiano Ronaldo, who is still recovering from Covid-19.
Meanwhile, Marcus Rashford came off the bench to score three goals in just 18 minutes, as Man United thrashed RB Leipzig 5-0 at Old Trafford.

Mason Greenwood and Anthony Martial also got on the scoresheet for the Red Devils, who’ve now made it two wins from two group matches.
Chelsea have gone top of their Champions League group, with a comfortable 4-0 win away to Krasnodar.

New signings Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner were among those on the scoresheet for the Blues.
Elsewhere PSG defeated Istanbul Basaksehir 2-0.
While Borussia Dortmund beat Zenit St Petersburg, also 2-0.
Djoko on course to end the year on a high
Novak Djokovic is through to the quarterfinals of the Vienna tennis Open after a straight sets win over Borna Coric.

If Djokovic goes on to win the tournament, it will guarantee that he ends the year as world number one.
GP behind closed doors
The Italian government has banned fans from attending this weekend’s Emilia Romagna F1 GP due to a spike in Covid-19 cases in the country.
Organizers had initially been hoping to let in some 13,000 spectators over the race weekend.
