Asian Games: National men’s sepak takraw squad set to face Thailand today 

The national men’s sepak takraw squad will face Thailand in the final of the team regu event at the Asian Games at 2pm today.

They are on the brink of winning the country’s first gold medal, after their 2-nil win over hosts Indonesia in the semi-final tie.

National women’s artistic gymnastics squad through to the final 

The national women’s artistic gymnastics squad are through to the final of the team event, which will take place at the Asian Games in Indonesia

They will be in action later today at 7pm in the women's team final.

The national trio team collected 145.50 points to be placed 6th among 11 teams.

China topped the round with 166.10 points followed by North Korea and South Korea.

National under-23 goalkeeper wants to start against Japan

The national under-23 goalkeeper says he’s ready to play against Japan in the group stage this Friday.

He says he will give it his all, if he is given the opportunity to start.

The Kedahan hopes his teammates can put behind their 2-3 lose to Bahrain, and fully focus on the next match against Japan.
