Arsenal slump to another Premiership defeat

Arsenal’s Premiership slump continued as the Gunners had a man sent off and conceded an own-goal in their shock 1-0 home defeat to Burnley.
Mikel Arteta’s side have now lost seven of their 12 league matches so far, and sit 15th in the table…renewing calls for the manager to be sacked.

In other results, Liverpool missed the chance to go top as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Fulham.
Mo Salah salvaged the point for the Reds with a late penalty.
Liverpool remain in second place, level on points with leaders Tottenham, who were also held to a 1-1 draw by Crystal Palace.

Meanwhile, Leicester climbed to third in the standings after a 3-0 win over Brighton.
While Southampton defeated Sheffield United also 3-0.
Messi saves Barca...again.

Lionel Messi scored the winner as Barcelona defeated Levante 1-0 to move up to eighth in La Liga.
The result also ensured that the Catalan side avoided a third-straight loss in all competitions following their earlier defeats to Cadiz and Juventus.

Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo scored two penalties as Juventus defeated Genoa 3-1 in the Serie A.
It made Ronaldo the first player ever to win 400 matches in Europe’s top five leagues.
Max ends the season with a win

Red Bull’s Max Verstappen has won the season-ending Abu Dhabi F1 GP, coming in ahead of the Mercedes duo of Valteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton.
F1 now goes on a short break before pre-season testing resumes in February, with the next season to flag off in mid-March.
