Chelsea boss Frank Lampard says Antonio Rudiger will not be in contention to face Newcastle in the Premier League tonight.

Lampard says Rudiger still has a lot of work to do to build up his match fitness before he’ll be available for selection again.

The German missed the start of the season due to a knee problem, which also caused him to sit out the Europa League final win over Arsenal.

Meanwhile, Lampard has suffered a double injury blow ahead of Newcastle's visit with N'Golo Kante and Andreas Christensen ruled out.

Tottenham have been boosted by the news of Giovani Lo Celso and Ryan Sessegnon's imminent return for their EPL match against Watford tonight.

Giovani was sidelined since the start of last month due to a hip problem, while Ryan is yet to feature following his summer arrival from Fulham because of a hamstring injury.

Spurs have confirmed that both players are back on the training pitch with their teammates.

El Clasico between Barcelona and Real Madrid postponed

The upcoming El Clasico between Barcelona and Real Madrid has been postponed.

This match was supposed to take place later this month, but La Liga officials asked for it to be rescheduled due following days of protests in Barcelona, after 9 Catalan separatists were jailed.

The clubs must agree on a new date by Monday.
