Alberto Contador will be retiring
Aug 07, 2017
Two-time Tour de France champ Alberto Contador has announced that he will retire from professional cycling after this month's Vuelta a Espana.
The 34-year-old is one of only 6 riders to have won all three Grand Tours, with the other being Giro d'Italia.
Contador had also won Tour de France a 3rd time, but was stripped of the title for doping, which he blamed on eating contaminated steak.
