6 athletes tested positive for doping not yet apply for B sample testing

The 6 athletes who tested positive for doping at SUKMA and the Institution of Higher Learning Games, or SUKIPT, have not applied for a B sample testing.

This, ahead of the closing date next Saturday.

As such, the Anti Doping Agency of Msia assumes they are ready to face a suspension, which will be finalised by their respective sports associations.

The SUKMA athletes involved comprise of 2 archers, a weightlifter, and a boxer, while the SUKIPT athletes comprise of a silat exponent, and another one from athletics.

Meanwhile, Pahang weightlifter, Khairul Anwar Mohd, who tested positive at the Sukma Sarawak Games, will be stripped of his gold medal.
