Pearly Tan and M Thinaah are refusing to get carried away by their qualification into the Paris Olympics women’s doubles quarterfinal.

Thinaah says that while they’re happy with the achievement, they need to prepare for their upcoming clash in the last eight.

Thinaah and Pearly will next face South Korea’s Kim So Yeong and Kong Hee Yong for a place in the semis.

Elsewhere in Paris…national archer Syaqiera Mashayikh missed out on a place in the last-16 of the women’s individual event.

She narrowly lost to her Brazilian opponent via shootout, after they were tied at 5-all in their last 32 elimination match.
