Ten Hag Plays Down Sack Fears

Sep 30, 2024

ten hag plays down sack fears

Erik Ten Hag is not worried about being sacked as Manchester United manager.

He says he still has the support of the club's owners and needs more time to turn the club's fortunes around, amid their injury crisis.

This, amid increased calls for his sacking after their 3-0 loss to Tottenham last night.

United are currently in the bottom half of the Premier League table with only two wins in their first six games.

--

Chelsea's top management are reportedly determined to get rid of Ben Chilwell in the January transfer window, after failing to offload him in the summer.

This, despite boss Enzo Maresca recalling the left back to the first team in their recent EFL Cup tie against Barrow.

Maresca even publicly admitted it was a mistake to try and sell him in the off-season.

--

Spain's La Liga has given Barcelona the green light to sign free agent Wojciech Szczesny.

The 34-year-old goalkeeper will be a short-term replacement for Marc-Andre ter Stegen, who's out with a serious injury.
