UEFA has opened disciplinary proceedings against Barcelona, Juventus, and Real Madrid for their involvement in the now collapsed European Super League.

They are the only three clubs out of the original 12 members who’ve yet to formally withdraw from the project.

The remaining clubs including the Premier League’s big six were already handed financial punishments for their role in the breakaway league.

England boss Gareth Southgate has announced his provisional 33-man squad for Euro 2020.

Among the players listed in the group include Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold, Harry Kane from Tottenham, and Arsenal's Bukayo Saka.

The team will be trimmed to a 26-man squad on June 1st, after considering injury doubts as well as the number of players playing in the upcoming Champions League and Europa League finals.

Liverpool's Gini Wijnaldum will reportedly reject a move to Bayern Munich in favour of Barcelona.

According to reports, Wijnaldum's reps are finalizing details for a three-year contract at Barca before the player joins the Netherlands national team for Euro 2020.

Wijnaldum has been with Liverpool for five years, with his current deal set to expire next month.
