Chelsea March Into The EFL Cup Final

Chelsea have qualified for the final of the EFL Cup.

The Blues thrashed Middlesbrough 6-1 in the second leg of their semifinal this morning, to advance 6-2 on aggregate.

They'll now face either Liverpool or Fulham for the title.

The Reds hold a 2-1 advantage over Fulham, heading into tomorrow morning’s semifinal return leg.

Over in the Asian Cup, Syria has reached the knockout round for the first time after a 1-0 win over India.

Palestine also qualified after easing past Hong Kong 3-0.

Australia and Uzbekistan played out a 1-1 draw.

While Iran edged past UAE 2-1.

Karim Benzema is reportedly not happy at Al-Ittihad.

Sources say the 36-year-old feels pressured at the Saudi club and wants to leave temporarily.

This, as Chelsea are reportedly keen to take the striker on loan in the current transfer window.
