Leicester close in on top-four EPL finish

Leicester City boosted their hopes of a top-four EPL finish thanks to their 3-0 win over West Brom this morning.

The result leaves the Foxes in third place…four points ahead of Chelsea with six games to go for them this season.

West Brom, meanwhile, are on the brink of relegation – second from bottom and nine points from safety.

Atletico Madrid have returned to the top of La Liga…after a 2-0 win over Huesca.

Diego Simeone’s side are now three points clear of Real Madrid with six games remaining.

Meanwhile, Barcelona hammered Getafe 5-2…to move up to third place.

Real Madrid and Juventus could be banned from the Champions League for a year, due to their part in the European Super League fiasco.

The chairmen of both clubs were among the masterminds of the breakaway competition – which now appears to have collapsed after most of the initial participants pulled out.

Insiders say UEFA is now looking to hand out severe punishment to Real and Juve…with a decision likely to be made later today.
