Liverpool Book Place in EFL Cup Semis

The draw for the EFL Cup semifinals is out.  

Liverpool, who defeated West Ham 5-1 in this morning's quarterfinal, have been drawn against Fulham, with the first leg to take place at Anfield. 

In other semi, Chelsea will travel to Middlesbrough for their opening tie.  

First leg matches have been scheduled for the week starting January 8th, and the return leg takes place 2 weeks later.

The Premier League has confirmed that last weekend's match between Luton and Bournemouth will be replayed in full.  

The match was abandoned at the hour-mark with the score level at 1-all, after Luton's captain suffered a cardiac arrest.

Belgium goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has confirmed that he will miss Euro 2024, due to his serious knee injury. 

The Real Madrid player has already been ruled out for the whole of the La Liga season, after undergoing surgery for an ACL injury that he sustained in August.
