Liverpool have recorded their fourth successive Premier League victory, after a 2-1 win over Chelsea at Anfield.

Curtis Jones netted the winner for the home side early in the second half.

The Reds have now won 10 of their 11 games in all competitions under new manager Arne Slot so far this season.

Last night’s other game saw John Stones head in an injury-time winner…to give Man City a 2-1 win over Wolves.

City are second in the standings…one point behind the Liverpool.

Elsewhere, Robert Lewandowski netted twice to help Barcelona to a 5-1 La Liga win over Sevilla.

The Polish striker has now scored 14 goals in all competitions so far this season.

Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami are the latest side to be added to the lineup for next year’s FIFA Club World Cup.

It comes after they won the MLS Supporters Shield for having the best regular-game season.

Charles Leclerc has won the US F1 GP taking the chequered flag ahead of Carlos Sainz and Max Verstappen.

Title contender Lando Norris had to settle for fourth, after getting a five second penalty for exceeding the track limits.

The result gives Verstappen a 57-point lead over Norris in the driver’s standings, with five races to go this season.
