Ronaldo comes to Man United's rescue again

Man United pulled off a stunning turnaround to beat Atalanta 3-2 in the Champions League this morning.

The home side were 2-0 down at halftime…but fought back through goals from Marcus Rashford and Harry Maguire.

Cristiano Ronaldo then headed in the winner nine minutes from time.

The win moves United to the top of their group after three matches.

In other selected Champions League results:

Chelsea recorded a comfortable 4-0 win over Malmo.

Bayern Munich thrashed Benfica, also 4-0.

Barcelona edged past Dynamo Kiev 1-0.

While Juventus netted a late winner to beat Zenit St Petersburg 1-0.

Chelsea expect Romleu Lukaku and Timo Werner to miss a number of upcoming games.

Both strikers picked up injuries in this morning’s win over Malmo.

It comes as The Blues face a busy fixture list …with five matches scheduled over the span of 15 days.

FIFA has announced the UAE as the host of the next Club World Cup early next year...with the dates to be confirmed later.

The tournament was due to have been played in Japan this year…before it pulled out as host due to the pandemic.

The national singles number one fought back from a game down to beat his Taiwanese opponent.
