Chelsea beat Leicester to boost their top-four hopes

Chelsea have taken a massive step towards securing Champions League qualification, after a 2-1 EPL win over Leicester this morning.
The win moves the Blues up to third place…one point ahead of the Foxes with one match remaining.

In other results, Edinson Cavani scored a contender for goal of the season – lobbing in from more than 35 meters out – as Man United were held to a 1-1 draw by Fulham at Old Trafford.
The draw, coupled with Leicester’s defeat means that United have secured a second-place finish this season.
Elsewhere, newly-crowned champions Man City had a player sent off, as they fell to a 3-2 defeat to Brighton.
While Leeds defeated Southampton 2-0.

Karim Benzema has been included in the France national team for this summer’s European Championship…for the first time in nearly six years.
The Real Madrid striker has not played for his country since 2015…after being accused of involvement in a blackmail attempt on a former teammate.

This year’s SEA Games in Hanoi will go ahead as scheduled in November.
The Olympic Council of Malaysia says this was confirmed during an online meeting of the participating countries yesterday.
It adds that the SEA Games Federation’s medical committee will be working closely with organisers, to ensure the event is carried out in strict accordance to Covid-19 SOP’s.
