"We Can Keep Commonwealth Games Within Budget"

The Olympic Council of Malaysia is confident we can host the 2026 Commonwealth Games without breaking the budget.
It says this can be achieved by reducing the number of events contested...making good use of the Commonwealth Federation’s 600-million-ringgit grant...and possibly even co-hosting the Games with Singapore.
The OCM adds that we can also follow the strategy used for the successful 2017 SEA Games in KL, where we used existing infrastructure and facilities, instead of building new ones.

Man United captain Bruno Fernandes has played down injury concerns, after he was seen struggling towards the end of their FA Cup quarter-final win over Liverpool at the weekend.
The 29-year-old put it down to fatigue...and assured that it was nothing serious.

And, the Premier League has deducted four points from Nottingham Forest for breaching Profitability and Sustainability Rules.
