Amorim Calls For Patience

Aug 18, 2025

amorim calls for patience

Man United boss Ruben Amorim believes it's only a matter of time before his rebuilt team starts posting wins.

Speaking after their 1-0 Premier League loss to Arsenal, Amorim says he was happy with his team's aggression and bravery, and if they keep it up the goals will come.

Meanwhile, United captain Bruno Fernandes has urged his teammates to work on their finishing.

He pointed out that they created a lot of chances against the Gunners but failed to convert them into goals.

--

Meanwhile, some reports say that United are considering bringing back their former goalkeeper David de Gea.

The Spaniard first left United in 2023 and currently plays for Italian club Fiorentina.

--

Latest transfer gossip:

Arsenal are preparing a bid for Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong, who has a year left in his contract.

AC Milan are considering a bid for Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic if they fail to sign Rasmus Hojlund from Man United.

RB Leipzig midfielder Xavi Simons is committed to joining Chelsea, despite interest from Bayern Munich and Man City.

Liverpool have reportedly given Newcastle a week to make up their mind on selling star striker Alexander Isak.

--

And reports say that Williams F1 driver Carlos Sainz could return to his former team Ferrari next year, if the Italian outfit decides to drop Lewis Hamilton.

The 7-time world champion has yet to claim a podium finish since joining them from Mercedes.
