Ten Hag: We're Bad At Defending Corners

Jan 15, 2024

ten hag: we're bad at defending corners

(Ten Hag whenever they concede from a corner)

Man United boss Erik ten Hag says his players need to be more mature when defending corner kicks, following their 2-all Premier League draw against Tottenham.

United surrendered the lead twice, and Ten Hag says in both instances, they conceded soft goals.

It was the first time that United played in front of their new co-owner Jim Ratcliffe.

Meanwhile, Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou praised his team's fighting spirit, as several of his players struggled with illness in the run-up to the match.

Spurs earned their point, after Richarlison and Rodrigo Bentancur cancelled out goals from Rasmus Hojlund and Marcus Rashford.

Real Madrid have lifted their 13th Spanish Super Cup after beating 10-man Barcelona 4-1 in the final.

They are now 1 trophy away from equaling Barca's record of Super Cup titles.

Denmark's Anders Antonsen has won the men's singles title at the Malaysian badminton Open after beating China's Shi Yuqi.

Meanwhile, China dominated the doubles events, with Liang Wei Keng-Wang Chang and Liu Sheng Shu-Tan Ning claiming victory in the men's and women's doubles respectively.

Japan's Yuta Watanabe-Arisa Higashino were crowned the mixed doubles champions.
