German football legend Franz Beckenbauer has passed away at the age of 78.

Widely regarded as one of the greatest footballers of all time, he lifted the World Cup both as a captain and coach in addition to winning the European Championship.

Beckenbauer is also regarded as an icon at Bayern Munich, featuring in over 500 games before eventually managing the team, and is credited with helping build the club into the European giant it is today.

Man United moved into the FA Cup fourth round, with a comfortable 2-0 win over Wigan this morning.

The Red Devils will now go on to face either Newport County or Eastleigh.

Meanwhile, the highlight of the fourth-round draw are two massive all-EPL ties…featuring Man City vs Tottenham and Chelsea vs Aston Villa.

In other results, Arif Aiman and Paolo Josue were on the scoresheet as Malaysia held Syria to a 2-all friendly draw, in what was Harimau Malaya’s final warm-up tie ahead of the Asian Cup next week.
