Erik Ten Hag: Sack or Stay?

Oct 08, 2024

erik ten hag: sack or stay?

The fate of under-fire Man United boss Erik Ten Hag could be decided in the coming days.

UK sources say top club officials will be holding an emergency meeting later today to discuss the matter, including identifying a potential replacement.

It’s believed that should the decision be taken to sack Ten Hag, then assistant boss Ruud Van Nistelrooy will be appointed as interim manager.

According to reports, the Red Devils are leaning towards Thomas Tuchel as Ten Hag’s successor, mainly because the German is available immediately following his Bayern Munich exit last season.

Harimau Malaya will not be privatized.

The FAM addressed speculation about the matter, clarifying that it will continue managing the national football squad, with a special unit to also be set up to oversee the team’s affairs.

This follows recent rumours that Harimau Malaya might operate independently of the FAM, with its own director and COO.

-

PSG are reportedly eyeing Man City keeper Ederson, as a replacement for Gianluigi Donnarumma next season.

The Brazilian will enter the final year of his City contract next season…and has also attracted interested from the Saudi Pro League.

-

Kylian Mbappe has come under fire from France supporters…for skipping his national team’s upcoming Nations League fixtures due to injury, despite being fit enough to play for his club side Real Madrid.

Fans are particularly annoyed because Mbappe is also the France captain.
